Worlds are unique "planetary" game areas spanning 100 Zones, offering different themes to the Monsters, biomes and effects on Item Pricing and Monster Health. (Are they randomised?) Worlds generally become progressively more difficult over a Star System until reaching World 30, which is always of an Astral theme. The game's format of a World goes by World <Star System #>-<World #>, where World 13 in Star System 2 would be formatted as World 2-13. However, some displays show the World as a standalone number, and if this is the case then the World is to be taken as an equivalent number of 30s+w, where s is the Star System number and w is the World in the current Star System. Upon a unique completion of a World, the player is to be rewarded with some World Crumbs and later on, Pending Hero Souls.

After a few Worlds with stable progression, you generally rise 5 levels per World, as level XP requirements rise linearly per level and Monster levels do too, but by 5 per World.

Structure[]

Worlds encompass 100 Zones, as mentioned previously.

  • Every 5 Zones, excluding ones that are divisible by 25, are regular Timed Zones. Note that the penultimate Zone (99) is also Timed.
  • The Zones 25, 50 and 75 are Boss Zones. Zone 100, the final of a World, is the World Boss Zone.

Sections[]

Worlds have 4 sections seperated every 25th Zone; 1-25, 26-50, 51-75, 76-100 are seperate biomes associative with the World theme, featuring different sets of Monsters. Basically, Boss Zones are the closure of a World section. This is not an official name (if there is one).
